Ayumi Pure Castor Oil Cold Pressed is an oil rich in ricinoleic acid, a monounsaturated fatty acid that deeply hydrates the hair shaft and increases flexibility. The moisturizing effect of pure castor oil reduces breakage and split ends and fights frizz, leaving hair shiny and manageable. In addition, the anti-inflammatory and antibacterial action of Ayumi castor oil also helps to dissolve excess oil and dirt to cleanse the scalp, control dandruff and create conditions that promote hair growth.

The vitamin E and fatty acids also help nourish the scalp. Castor oil also stimulates the scalp, promotes blood circulation and strengthens the hair root, preventing hair loss.

If you have recently colored or chemically treated your hair, you can dilute the cold-pressed castor oil with a carrier oil, such as coconut oil or jojoba oil. This helps prevent hair color from fading too quickly and reduces possible irritation to the sensitive scalp.
