Privacy Statement

Your privacy is extremely important to us. We will do everything we can to protect your information. However, we do need information from you in order to be able to deliver your order or, for example, to answer your question to our customer service.

Your data
We need your data in order to be able to deliver your purchase. This includes requests, orders, deliveries, returns, exchanges and contact with our customer service. In addition, we may use your information to provide optimal and personalized service. This falls under 'legitimate interest'. This includes reviews, contact with our customer service, your account, newsletters & emails, personal advice, actions, social media and legal obligations.

Transmission of your data
We only pass on your data to other parties if this is really necessary for our services. These are: delivery partners, suppliers, payment partners, IT service providers, administration partners and review partners. In case of fraud, we share your data with government agencies. The parties who receive access to your data from us may only use it to provide you with a service on behalf of De Groene Drogist. Read more about this in our Cookie Statement. We never sell your data to third parties.

Storage of your data
Our partners store your data in various platforms within the European Union. These platforms apply strict security measures. Processing agreements have been concluded with these partners as required by the AVG legislation.

Storage period of your data
We do not store or use your data for longer than is necessary. These are then removed or anonymised for internal reporting purposes. Customer accounts that are no longer used, email, invoice, payment and order data are stored for 7 years. If we suspect fraud, we retain data for a longer period of time.

Insight into your data
Would you like to have access to your personal data, change, delete or change your e-mail preferences? You can do this yourself in your Account with us. Of course, you can also send e-mails. If you no longer wish to receive our newsletters, you can always unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of the newsletter or you can send us an email and we will do this for you.

For questions or complaints about your data and the protection of your privacy, you can always call, email or write to us. If you are not satisfied with how we deal with your privacy you can contact the privacy authority.
